Schmidt® TeraValve™ Blast Pot Retrofit Kit – Single Outlet

These retrofit kits are commonly used to transform obsolete or worn-out single-outlet blast pots into modern pressure-hold blast machines.  The heart of these complete retrofit kits is the TeraValve™ - a diaphragm-activated metering system which provides smoother action for improved valve life. 

Built with a rugged stainless steel body, the TeraValve will fit under any blast pot that has a minimum of only 6" clearance. Requires minimum of 75 psi to use.

Available Configurations:

• Valve Size options:  1", 1-¼", 1-½", 2".  The 1" size is intended for very small 0.9 to 1.5cf pots.  The sizes from 1-¼" and above can be used on any single-outlet pot from 3.5cf and larger. The 2" size provides full flow for near-zero pressure drop and maximum productivity, when used with a 2" bull hose.
• Power options:  Pneumatic or Electric
• Deadman options:  G2 (paddle type) or Compact BAABS with G3 (trigger type)

Available Options & Upfits:

• Pop-up and Handway components.  The only wear parts not included in the retrofit kit are available separately, if needed.  
• VBS II muffler. Conveniently reduce dangerous blow-down noise while retrofitting with this industrial-grade muffler.
• Union-end ball valve / quick connect. Service your metering valve more easily with the union-end ball valve and/or quick valve connect.  When combined with the TeraValve, this requires a total of 12 inches of clearance.
• Pot-Mounted Moisture Separator.  Recommended when the blast pot is at a distance from the air dryer. Removes residual moisture caused by condensation in the air line.  (Does not substitute for an air dryer.)
• Blast Hose, Bull hose, and PPE are also available separately.
