The DeFelsko® PosiTest® CMM Concrete Moisture Meter revolutionizes the way inspectors evaluate concrete moisture, combining speed with non-destructive convenience. Designed with the user in mind, it features an easy-to-read digital display that removes the uncertainty of analog scales, while the storage of 200 readings allows for comprehensive data analysis and reporting. The device's innovative Hold Max and Save Mode ensures readings are only saved once stabilized, guaranteeing accuracy in each measurement. Crafted for durability and practicality, the PosiTest® CMM boasts a weatherproof, dustproof, and water-resistant IP65-rated enclosure, making it suitable for use in any condition. Its ergonomic design and rubberized grip offer comfort for all-day inspections, while the optional Telescopic Extender enables measurements without the need for bending or kneeling. Instant measurements require no drilling, providing efficiency without damaging the surface. Compatibility with PosiSoft Desktop software allows for easy collection, analysis, and reporting of data, with the ability to automatically generate professional PDF reports. Conforming to ASTM F2659 standards, and equipped with fast response precision sensors, the PosiTest® CMM delivers reliable, instant readings for various measurement modes and scales, including the Moisture Content of Concrete, Carbide Method Equivalent, and Relative humidity. How does the PosiTest® CMM differ from the PosiTector® CMM IS? The PosiTector® CMM IS measures concrete moisture as described in ASTM F2170 test Method. It involves drilling a hole into the concrete (generally 40% of the depth of the slab), and using an electronic relative humidity probe to quantitatively measure the moisture directly in the slab. It is a destructuive test that requires at least 24 hours of being in-situ before an acceptable reading is taken. The PosiTest® CMM measures concrete moisture as described in ASTM F2659 test method using a non-destructive electronic impedance meter to instantaneously measure comparative moisture content within the top ¾" of a concrete slab.
