Clemco Deadman Handles (aka RLX Handles or Remote Control Handles) are designed to provide safe and efficient remote control for abrasive blasting machines, meeting the stringent safety requirements outlined by OSHA. These handles are available in pneumatic and electric configurations, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of blasting systems and offering flexible options for various worksite needs. Pneumatic Deadman Handles:- Operate using twinline control hose with a 3/16" ID on both sides.
- When the handle is pressed, a rubber button blocks the orifice, diverting air back to activate the remote control valves and begin blasting.
- Effective for distances up to 100 feet.
- Utilize an electric cord and micro-switch instead of twinline hoses.
- Operate on 12 volts for safety, reducing risks during extended operations.
- Provide fast response times at distances up to 500 feet, with specialized cables available for longer distances.
