The Andreae Accordion Filters are specifically designed to optimize airflow and filtration in industrial spray booths. These filters address a key issue in paint finishing—poor airflow caused by clogged filters, which can lead to suboptimal paint application, defects, and reduced productivity. All Andreae filters feature a pleated accordion design made from two layers of heavy kraft paper, while the HE version features a polyester backing for maximum efficiency. Regardless which version you choose, these filters are an efficient, multi-stage filtration system that can hold up to five times more paint residue than conventional mesh or fiberglass filters. 

As overspray-laden air passes through the filter’s chambers, the paint particles are trapped in retention pockets outside of the airflow. This unique process keeps the airflow steady and free from contaminants, resulting in better-quality paint finishes and less frequent filter replacements. Additionally, the filters operate with minimal static pressure buildup, ensuring that the booth stays cleaner for longer and that the airflow remains uniform throughout the life of the filter. 

Andreae High Efficiency Filters provide excellent filtration efficiency while maintaining the loading capacity of the original filter. These filters are also easy to install in downdraft spray booths without modifications. Simply secure the filter by draping the end over the lip of the spray booth pan, ensuring a tight fit to prevent overspray from escaping into the booth environment.
