The Andreae Accordion Filters are designed to optimize airflow and maintain high filtration efficiency in spray booths. With a unique multi-layer structure, these filters capture paint overspray effectively while minimizing static pressure buildup. Andreae filters can hold up to five times more paint residue than standard mesh filters, allowing for longer operation before needing replacement. Compatible with most downdraft spray booths, these filters enhance productivity and ensure uniform airflow for superior paint finishes. Available configurations:
- Original. With over 50 years of history, the Original Andreae filter is still the most common version in use. Two layers of heavy card stock / kraft paper are punched, pleated, and glued, and extension limiters are included to provide maximum load capacity.
- HE (High Efficiency). The Original Andreae filter is enhanced with a layer of polyester on the back, increasing it's efficiency to near 100%.

These Fiberglass filters are the most popular filter media type. They are generally less restrictive to air flow (and hence lower in efficiency) as well as lower in cost than other types. Available in premium weight 28 gram, standard 22 gram, and economy 15 gram weights, there are even some variants that blend fiberglass with polyester.

These Polyester filters are an excellent filter media option for many applications. They are generally higher in efficiency and ideal for critical paint arrestor applications, although typically somewhat lower in useful life than other types. Available in conventional non-woven material or also in layered types, there are even some variants that blend fiberglass with polyester.
NOTE: Most of the polyester filters on this page are dry (not tacky), and these are typically used in liquid spray exhaust applications. There are some tackified filters included, which are typically used in powder booth exhaust applications (often in combination with cube filter) OR as Intake filters in cross-draft booths.
