Clemco Climate Controllers are designed to enhance the safety and comfort of blast operators by allowing precise control over the temperature and volume of air supplied to Clemco high-pressure Type CE continuous flow supplied-air respirators. Each controller offers unique features to suit different needs and applications, ensuring optimal working conditions in various environments.

Key Features:

  • Climate Control Tube (CCT):
    • Temperature & Flow: Flow is adjustable.  The CCT allows the blast operator to either cool or warm incoming compressed air, maximizing comfort all year.
    • Construction:  Metal with replaceable components.
  • Cool Air Tube (CAT):
    • Temperature and Flow: Flow is adjustable.  The CAT cools incoming compressed air by up to 50°F, making it ideal for hot working environments.
    • Construction:  Metal with replaceable components.
  • Clem-Cool Air Conditioner (CCAC):
    • Temperature and Flow: Similar to the CAT, the CCAC has adjustable flow, and can cool incoming compressed air by up to 50°F, enhancing comfort in high-temperature conditions.
    • Construction:  Plastic, non-repairable.
  • Air Control Valve (ACV):
    • Temperature and Flow: The ACV has adjustable flow and but does not condition the air's temperature.
  • Constant Flow Connection (CFC):
    • Temperature and Flow:  The economical CFC has non-adjustable (constant) flow and does not condition temperature.  It is the only option available for LP (Low Pressure) systems that use ambient air pumps, and is also available as a HP version.

Some models come with a belt to secure the device to the operator's waist.
