Bull Hose 4-Claw Crowsfoot Coupling
Sku: P-FMCF
The 4-Claw Crowsfoot Bull Hose Coupling is a traditional, heavy-duty fitting designed for quick and secure connections between MegaFlow Bull / Air Hoses and various industrial blasting or air equipment. Known for its convenience and durability, this coupling is essential for maintaining safe and efficient operations in environments where air pressure is critical.
This 4-claw coupling, also referred to as a Crowsfoot coupling, is made from robust steel to withstand the rough conditions of the industrial and corrosion control sectors. It is rated for 150 psi air pressure and is designed to be used with bull hose bolt clamps and HFCLP2 lock pins (sold separately) to secure the connection, preventing accidental disconnection.
Key Features:
- 4-Claw Design: Traditional quick connection for 1-1/4" thourgh 2" bull hoses.
- Durability: Built from plated steel to endure harsh environments and high-pressure applications.
- Safety: Always use two HFCLP2 lock pins and whipchecks to prevent hose disconnection during operation. Daily inspection of gaskets is recommended to prevent air leaks and ensure productivity.
- Application: Ideal for connecting bull hoses to equipment such as air dryers, blast machines, or compressors. Use threaded couplings for these connections and hose tail couplings for hose attachment with bolt clamps.
- Replacement Gaskets: Includes a FMCFG gasket, with additional replacement gaskets available for purchase.
Important Notes:
- Spud Fittings (aka Boss® Fittings) are recommended by BlastOne for bull hose connections due to their inherent safety benefits.
- This coupling is not suitable for steam applications.
For proper installation and secure connections, always follow recommended safety procedures, including the use of bolt clamps, lock pins, and whipchecks to protect against accidental hose disconnections.
